decided to finally get my shit together and start helping other people out. i like the idea of supporting women who need help running their own businesses. this woman lives in tanzania, is single with two kids, and needs money to buy supplies for her restaurant. click to lend (as little as $25!) or to check out all the other entrepreneurs on the website!

no fancy fonts! i want to see only times new roman or helvetica. yes, garamond and courier are lovely, but not for someone who has to read on a laptop all day. it should go without saying that this should be 12 point font, too. and double spaced. the easier something is for me to read, the more likely it is that i will like it.

since it’s pretty informal and low key i think i’ll be updating it the most out of all the things i update (tumblr, facebook, lj). already two strangers are following me. is that proper twitter etiquette? i have no idea. i feel like an old person figuring out the internet. if any of you guys have this newfangled thing, follow me so i can follow you: victoriamatsui so, some things...

if i read the words “she tucked a lock/strand of hair behind her ear” one more time i will cry. this is one of the most unoriginal and most popular sentences in the english langauge. fuck this sentence. it has been used so many times that it has totally lost any meaning. plus, it’s boring as fuck. so you tucked a piece of hair behind your ear. WHO CARES.  what does this tell me...
